Anyone that knows anything about doing research on Italian Genealogy knows that "the book" to get on the subject was written by Trafford Cole. It is entitled Italian Genealogical Records and it is certainly the most complete treatise on the subject.

The IGG always keeps Dr. Cole's book on hand and it is probably the biggest seller at our monthly meetings. At our 1997 Seminar, where Dr. Cole presented two lectures and was on hand to autograph his work, the book was extremely popular.
