Nassau and Suffolk Marriages

Nassau County:

During this period of time the County Clerk maintained records of marriages performed in Nassau County. The New York State Department of Health and the local Town Clerk also received a copy of the marriage.

Suffolk County:

Marriage Records between the years 1908-1916 are available in affidavit form.
Marriage Records between the years 1917-1935 are available in abstract form only.

We have provided printable forms to request Marriage Records from the Office of the appropriate County Clerk. The forms are available below the search results after you run a successful search.

Members of the Italian Genealogical Group along with members of the Genealogy Federation of Long Island, and some volunteers from all over the country, in the indexing of this vital record.

This is another invaluable service being performed for the genealogical community.
